dear you, How are you held by this beautiful planet today? Where does this letter find you? I feel like I have walked a circle. I have been writing to you every month for a year now, and this realization moves me. There is something so tender in looking back at all I have shared, and at what some of you have written back. A whole year of weaving little threads across times and spaces. Thank you for being here, it means the world. My first letter was about thresholds and entering the time of the Spirits (Veļu laiks), a season of honoring ancestors, pausing with darkness and listening more closely. We are in this season again, and this time I feel a deep pull to nest, in many different ways. This letter is about that, and offers invitations to nest together, including a first community call gathering for us, called the GROVE, call for support in building the new community house NEST in Aarhus, and Work that Reconnects workshops I will be offering soon. It is a longer letter than usual, so come back to it in pieces if you like. As always, there is what is alive and present, where to meet, and news from the plant world and the library. And I would love to hear back from you, if a string is touched in you.

This Monday I returned from two weeks out in the world, both from a small roadtrip holiday to say hello to old and new friends and a week in the beautiful South Tyrol doing some cultural activism work. Filled up with inspirations and mountain power, I am now slowly getting ready for wintering and moving around a little less in the upcoming months. It feels very much like gathering the threads and preparing spaces for nesting and welcoming the time of darkness as a possibility to slow down a little, gather in communities, dream, reflect, con-spire: Packing the things to send for the participants of the “Wild Women Wintering” circle I feel so blessed to be spending this winter in the company of an amazing group of people from near and far. Reading the article about practices of reconnection and collective transformation in our Becoming Taiga work written by my beloved friend Bua as part of her PhD journey (with contributions by me and other people from the new visions community) fills me with deep gratitude for the work we have done together and that is now carried on by our community. By the way - the call for the 8th cycle of TAIGA program is now out and you can apply until 14th of November. I cannot recommend it more!! gho check it out here. I keep going deeper into the Work that Reconnects by both preparing to hold two workshops / courses soon, but also by becoming part of the team of the Work that Reconnects Network. I have just started working with a beautiful two year initiative called “Islands of Coherence”, initiated by the network to seed and nourish local, place-based gathering places where people can practice the work together, build real relationships of mutual care, and act as catalysts for the Great Turning. Its beyond fantastic and if you want to get involved in any way - you can read more on how here, or just write me. And then there is the NEST - a long-term dream coming true. A house for earth, body and connection opening in Aarhus in December 2026 at Institut for X. A place to practice, learn, and explore what it means to live more ecologically and more connected to the world around us.
All these feel like healing nests of sorts - where we bring our different threads together and weave a shared container for collective transformation. How do you resonate with this? What comes up for you when you think of nests and nesting?

Work That Reconnects. Rekindling our Sense of Belonging in the Earth January 21 - 25, 2027, Earthwise Residency, Bogens, Denmark I cannot recommend this enough. This work is so transformative and like a gulp of fresh air, whether you join for the first time or for the dozenth. It does magic moving us from anxiety to grounded presence in the world; from sense of doom and paralysis to a space of deep acknowledgment of what is happening with our world as fire for our actions; from isolation to connection. And this time it will be in the stunning world of Earthwise Residency and Mols mountains. Would love to sit in this circle with you. All info here. GROVE: Willow House Community Call December 5, 10.00 - 11.30 CET, zoom Its a year since I started writing these letters and I have loved everything about it, and especially the moments when I got to meet you somehow. There are so many amazing people here - artists, healers, organizers, teachers, brewers, dreamers, doers and and and…people who tend land and community, hold space for others and keep imagining livable worlds. I am in awe of the work you do, and I keep thinking that many of us are sitting with similar questions and longings and yet many of us have never met. So I would like to invite you out into the Grove, a new Willow House community call that will gather four times a year. Step out from your own corner of the forest and let us meet each other. There will be a grounding practice, there will be space to share what is alive in you, what you are working on, what you are grieving or dreaming about, and to hear the same from others. And then we see how it unfolds. There is no need to prepare anything or to have something polished to say. I will hold the space, and I hope it becomes a place where you can meet people you would not otherwise have met. If you would like to join, please REGISTER HERE. Nest is an emerging new community house for ecology, embodiment and connection in Aarhus at Institut for (X). We (yours truly, Entangled Kitchen, Lab for Planterary Intimacies and SolVæv) are transforming a former motorcycle workshop into a living nest: part ecological library, part gathering space, part workshop, part place for rest, reflection and experimentation. Nest is a home for rest and radicality, a place where ecology and care meet, where we can challenge the boundaries between nature and culture, self and world. We hope it will become a place that holds life and makes room for the futures we want to live in. A place that creates the conditions for something new to grow and emerge. And we need your help in building this nest. For now, we are asking for support in three ways, to help Nest get started: FUND IT. Support the renovation and development of The Nest.
