Storytelling workshop: Birch (un)foldings (artistic intervention)

We invite the participants to share and explore birch-human entanglements as relational multispecies practices, examining their modulations and (dis-)continuities across place and time, changing political regimes, intergenerational journeys and relationships. We develop the analytical prism of (un)folding to explore the multiple roles of birch- as a tree to be protected in Baltic folklore; as a companion; as a witness; as a friend and an ally.
