house for homeless grief

nomadic sound installation and series of live performances

an international multidisciplinary installation that addresses the “homeless grief” of our time through performance, text, music, sound, video, ritual, and dialogue with plants and the more-than-human. It creates a shared space for recognition, collective holding, and healing.
We have initiated the project with Katrine Faber and it gathers a diverse group of artists and contributors - Xanthe Gresham, Ida Lod, Agnieszka Bulacik, Aksel Striim and a Crying Choir. It will open its doors to visitors of ROOTED festival on June 13&14 at Radar. More about the project here.

participatory installation re-imagining the experiences, space, and artefacts of a cemetery.  co-created with Lindsay Tingstrom and Ints Ivanovskis, 2018

Why are the rituals, spaces and artefacts of a cemetery the way they are, and how might they be re-imagined? How might a cemetery look different? What does an experience of remembrance consist of? What is analog, what is digital, what is in-between?

  • f(un)eral
