During a two week residency at BIRCA dedicated to ritual in performing arts, I was investigating listening through hands and what opens through being in direct physical contact with the land through repeated movements and crafting.

Five days in a row I spent a couple of hours each day weaving grasses from the local meadow into a braided rope. Altogether I spend about 14 hours braiding, singing a grass spell, listening with the land, and connecting with the grasses ending up with a 120 footsteps long grass rope that I used for a participatory art piece for audience at the final showing of the residency.
