#1: Thresholds

November 2025

In the first letter from Willow House I write about thresholds, reflecting on time spent in Latvia during Veļu laiks — a season of honoring ancestors, pausing with darkness, and listening more closely — alongside both troubling political shifts and powerful collective uprisings in the streets. I share a personal transition into a new leadership role, as well as invitations to Wild Women Wintering, Unearthing, ROOTED, plant listenings (including a message from cedar), and news from the Willow House library.
