#9: Whispering

In the July letter, I write from deep inside a mostly analogue summer - trying to vegetalize my sensorium, to become the soft body of a plant. A summer full of weaving, braiding, harvesting plant allies for the winter ahead. Becoming a Yarrow Choir with six artists, spending hours in meadows and forests and on the beach, singing the melodies Yarrows gift us, learning about constriction and release, protection and flow. In plant listenings I share an old poem written to Yarrow, and in the library highlights - Rachel Corby's Rewilding & the Art of Plant Whispering on what it means to notice a plant noticing you.
